The Zastava Restaurant is located in Novorizhskoe, near Moscow. Nestled in sprawling green surroundings, Zastava is part of a complex in which diverse structures come together to create a comprehensive visitor experience. As well as commercial structures, the park also includes residential buildings, children’s play areas, sports fields and a small zoo.
The exterior lighting design developed showcases the geometric features of the building in relation to the surrounding nature. The restaurant stands out within the park thanks to its imposing structure comprised of regular, strong shapes, made even sharper thanks to the choice of construction materials. The exposed brick and the wood in very light shades of brown to the façade create a compactness, accentuated by the contrasting dark roof. The entire structure stands on a paved floor that defines the area in a unique way, marking out a clear and separate space within the park. The result is a setting within the complex which is warm and stylish, but at the same time welcoming and familiar.
The lighting solutions put in place enhance these distinguishing features; the general lighting of the façades is provided by Flure linear luminaires in a special LED version.
The selected light sources deliver a colour temperature of 3000 K with luminous flux of 2420 lm, a colour rendering index of 85 and wattage of 20 W. Thanks to the adjustable wall brackets and a special accessory which diffuses the light beam, the wall washer effect allows for optimum enhancement of the texture of the brick.
Wall-mounted LED Envios projectors (IP66) complete the project. The luminaires deliver a colour temperature of 3000 K with luminous flux of 810 lm, a colour rendering index of 85 and wattage of 7 W, the ideal solution to highlight specific architectural features such us columns, and the spaces between the building’s various windows.
